Couples therapy can be uncomfortable. Unlike individual therapy, where being vulnerable is safe, couples therapy is often about someone else exposing your flaws. My approach is through the lens of the Developmental Model, which seeks to understand how we developed into the people we are, and how our life habits play into our relationships. It’s my goal to make couples therapy less about specific fights or character traits, and more about setting goals and values that you both can live up to. This isn’t a blame game. It’s about a vision of life that you want to achieve, both as individuals and as a couple.
